Fear is one of the enemy’s favourite weapons. It creeps in quietly, settles slowly, and suddenly takes over the mind, limiting destiny, weakening faith, and stealing peace. Know that God has already given you the power to overcome it.
The Bible not only advise us against fear, it commands us not to fear because fear is not from God.
In 2 Timothy 1:7, Scripture says:
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
That means fear is not an emotion you’re to nurse; it is a spirit you’re meant to conquer.

Understanding Fear from a Biblical Perspective
Fear became a reality from the fall of man. When Adam sinned, he said, “I heard Your voice… and I was afraid” (Genesis 3:10). Fear entered the human experience because separation from God brings insecurity.
But in Christ, you have regained authority and confidence.
Isaiah 41:10 gives a divine assurance:
“Fear not, for I am with you… I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you.”
Fear loses power when you know God is with you, for you, and ahead of you.
